Preamble
These terms and conditions apply to all products sold by “VisioTech SA”.

VISIOTECH SA specializes in the sale and installation of security systems.

The conditions of sale applicable are those at the time of purchase. These “General Terms and Conditions of Sale” apply to all commercial and legal transactions relating to products marketed by VISIOTECH SA.

Purpose
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale is to define the terms and conditions under which VISIOTECH SA offers and sells its products to its customers. These general terms and conditions of sale shall prevail over any other terms and conditions appearing in any other document, unless expressly waived in advance in writing. These terms and conditions contain important provisions concerning the warranty and services offered by VISIOTECH SA. Please read these conditions carefully.

Price
Prices are quoted in Swiss francs. The seller’s offers are revocable (with 100% refund of the order cancelled by the seller).

Availability
Our delivery commitment is null and void in the event of failure or non-compliance with supply deadlines on the part of our own suppliers. If a product is unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible and a refund for the unavailable item will still be possible.

Terms of payment.
Payment methods: payment by credit card.

Delivery and transport
Available items are dispatched by post within approximately 5 to 14 days.

Return or exchange of goods
Items may only be returned with VisioTech’s prior consent. Return requests must be made by e-mail only. Items must be returned undamaged and complete (including packaging, instructions, screws, equipment, etc.) and in their original packaging, with no trace of the packaging having been opened. Accompanied by the original delivery note and a copy of the return authorization email. There is no direct refund, but a credit note will be issued for future purchases.

The right of return is only valid within a maximum of seven days after receipt of the ordered material. You are responsible for return postage costs.

We reserve the right to reduce the value of the credit note from 50 to 100% in the event of returns that do not meet the above-mentioned requirements. (see our returns policy information page).

Legal warranty
Warranty claims exist only to the extent specified below. Any liability is expressly excluded for claims exceeding the following provisions, in particular for claims for compensation for damage caused directly or indirectly by the goods or by their use.
The seller reserves the right to deviate from the representations, weights and tables of measurement or from any other such statement made at the time of the offer, insofar as such deviation proves to be appropriate during the execution of the order and the use of the items delivered by the customer is not affected thereby.
The implementation of the warranty mentioned below for the goods delivered is subject to the purchaser’s compliance with all instructions for use and installation and to the fulfilment of his payment obligations.
The seller is liable for any defects occurring during the warranty period, provided that it can be proved that the defect is due to faulty materials or workmanship. The warranty period is 24 months. It begins on the day the goods are delivered to the buyer. The purchaser must inspect the delivered item within eight working days of receipt and must immediately notify the seller of any defects in writing, stating the reasons. Should such defects be discovered at a later date, the purchaser must immediately notify the seller in writing, stating the reasons, otherwise the delivered item will be deemed to have been accepted.
The warranty obligation is excluded in the event of modifications or repair work carried out without the seller’s written consent, as well as in the event of non-observance of the seller’s operating instructions, unless these are measures resulting from the buyer’s obligation to reduce the damage as far as possible.

On-site installation and commissioning service.
If you opt for on-site installation: The installation date will be determined according to our possibilities. The equipment will be installed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. All of the following devices will be attached using screws or self-adhesive tape (as required) except: Hub, Rex, Siren. The technician’s transport costs are included up to a 30km radius from Etoy/VD, any kilometers required will be invoiced in addition at CHF 1.20 per kilometer travelled, to be paid in cash at the time of installation.

All on-site or remote maintenance services other than initial installation services are considered additional services. Any services requested by the customer during the equipment warranty period or in the event of equipment failure are also recognized as additional services.

Rates for additional services:
a) The hourly rate for non-warranty services is CHF 140 per hour excluding VAT. (Calculated in 15-minute increments).

b) A one-off fee to open the file and cover transport costs of is added for each service requiring on-site intervention. This lump sum is invoiced: CHF 120.00 plus VAT

c) Travel time to the customer’s premises will be invoiced at CHF 140-/hour plus VAT.

d) Travel costs to and from the customer’s premises are charged at CHF 1.20 per kilometer travelled.

Data protection
All personal data will be treated as confidential. The information required to manage the order will be processed electronically and may be communicated to associated companies for the purpose of managing the order.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
The applicable law is Swiss law, and any dispute will be handled by the Tribunal d’arrondissement MORGES.
