Infrared detection with its thermal sensor reacts to movement whose temperature approaches that of a human being. Pets weighing no more than 20kg and 50cm are tolerated.
Micro-Waves, the advantages
Microwave detection then acts like radar, scanning the danger zone by radio frequency to confirm any intrusion. This wireless motion detector is specially designed to analyze and ignore false alarms linked to airflow, chimneys, air conditioners and glare in the room.
Detects human presence by temperature difference with background thermal radiation. The microwave sensor prevents false alarms caused by complex interferences, such as radiators, chimneys, draughts or other environments that are difficult for standard infrared sensors.
