Senseair’s Sunrise sensor is an optical NDIR sensor designed by Swedish developers. This technology directly measures the level of carbon dioxide in the air, without the need for mathematical models. With an average power consumption of 45 μA, the sensor is energy-efficient and guarantees a minimum of 15 years of measurements with an accuracy of ±(30 + 3%) ppm.

The Ajax LifeQuality is an intelligent wireless air quality monitor and CO2 sensor with integrated humidity and temperature sensors for assessing air quality dynamics in the home, office, workplace or any other space. Sensirion’s SHT40 Swiss sensor guarantees the accuracy of LifeQuality’s temperature and humidity readings. Senseair’s Swedish Sunrise sensor measures CO2 concentration. These reliable detectors are even used in medical equipment.
The combined humidity and temperature sensor is installed in an isolated area of the board, so that sensor readings are not affected by heating of other components. To measure CO2, a
NDIR detector is used instead of VOC sensors, which mathematically calculate carbon concentration. LifeQuality does not give false readings that may occur due to substance vapors, aerosols or perfumes.
